You will fall in love with this NEW dress.  It is made of 100% crinkle cotton gauze  fabric that’s breezy and breathable, great for summer, but with sturdy wash & wear.

The style is Artsy and Comfy.  It has shaped inverted Y seaming in front and in back. It’s a loose, easy fitting and easy to wear dress with a front V-neckline and popular 3/4 length “stovepipe” sleeves. It has an asymmetric wide “box” design to the skirting of the dress. A conversation piece for sure! Turned & stitched hems.  In addition, it has ties inside with a loop so you can pull it up to be a shorter and more dramatic shape.  Or maybe leave one side long for a more asymmetric look.

And YES it has pockets.  The Art on this dress is handpainted or discharge painted depending on the color you choose.

It comes in 2 Sizes.  Regular fits to size Large...Plus fits to 3X.  Find the right size with our size recommender.

this dress is so comfortable

-- I feel like I am wearing my "nightie" but It is so stylish and versatile I would be happy wearing it to run errands, as well as wear it on a day of sight seeing or museum hopping, and still feel great at a special dinner. It's a nice weight, I am comfortable today with the temp in the 60s, but can see wearing it when it is much warmer too. I would buy this again, and if Joanne ever made it in a heavier fabric to carry me through the winter I would buy that one too.

Loved Lillian Bubble dress so much I bought two

I first bought the baked clay Lillian Gauze Bubble dress knowing I’d wear it floor length, and loved it. I discovered that the clever inside ties midway up the side seam could be used to tighten the bodice a little (in addition to shortening the length). Then I dreamed of getting the black one, knowing Joanne’s black would have nice inky overtones. The painted design on the baked clay and black dress are exquisite, and I’ve decided to wear the baked clay one to a wedding with a favorite necklace and earrings. The gauze material is perfect for an outdoor wedding, and is slightly heavier than some gauze so it has a nice drape. A real winner!
