A while back I did a quick survey of my customers and many of you said that you like being at home
I don't know if Covid has changed that for anyone, but I thought it would be fun to give us all some ideas on things we can do at home.....and not necessarily alone.
1) Start a family game night tradition.
Who said you had to leave home to have fun with the family? If money’s really tight, grab a few of your favorite board or video games, throw a few franks and patties on the grill, and have at it. You’ll save a lot of money, and have a lot of fun. Plus, when these nights become a family tradition, that only $20 investment in Monopoly will be spread out across many, many years of fun!
2) Watch a drawing tutorial on you tube and Practice.
No matter if you are an experienced artist or a beginner, this can be fun if you are alone but also it can be a great fun group experience. You can create your own Painting with a Twist. It could be a BYOB with friends or maybe your significant other. All you need are a few supplies. Here is one you might like.
3) Rearrange a Room
This is something I used to do all the time. It is kind of like doing dress up but with a room. If you do please share images with us.
4) Do a Jigsaw Puzzle
Puzzles can be fun and take the whole day or week depending on how tough it is. You can make it a marathon and nobody leaves until it is finished.
5)Cook with friends
This can be a fun one if you have a big open kitchen. Design a menu and then invite friends to help you. Everyone brings some of the ingredients and you work together to create a great meal. Don't forget the wine!
6) Have a Picnic
This one can be done inside or outside. All you need is a Blanket, some good food, Wine and others to share it with.
7) Binge watch something on Netflix
So, OK, we all probably have been doing a lot of this. If you have been doing it alone, invite some friends over and do a marathon. All you need is popcorn and a good series or movie trilogy.
8) Make a Bucket List
Who has done this? Let us know what is on it. If you haven't, there is no better time. What have you been wanting to do your whole life? Put it on the list.
