Cinderella Weddings
Wedding season is here. Many of you will be attending a wedding every weekend. One of my favorite Movies of all time was Cinderella. I became obsessed with the idea that everyone should have the opportunity to wear a beautiful dress but then the thought of said dress sitting in storage never to see the light of day feels so wasteful.
I wanted so much to create those dresses but since I hate waste, I decided that any dress I create must have more then a one day use.
So, not only are my pieces made of fabrics destined for the landfill, they are designed to be worn after the big event. If the piece needs some adjustment after the day, I happily do that. The idea that it would go into storage really bothers me.
