In the fashion world, “style” is usually shorthand for “personal style,” or the way an individual expresses themselves through aesthetic choices such as their clothing, accessories, hairstyle, and the way they put an outfit together

Fashion is a popular aesthetic expression at a particular period and place and in a specific context, especially in clothing, footwear, lifestyle, accessories, makeup, hairstyle, and body proportions.

Here at Steel Pony, we are definitely more about Style Fashion. Fashion is fleeting and who wants to follow what THEY say. Most designers have a specific esthetic that emulates heir customers. Our esthetic is more Boho in that we like comfortable, flowing shapes. But even within that our customers have different styles so in this and my next few posts I wanted to delve a little deeper into each one.

OK so let's get to it. What is an Artsy Girl?

You are the Modern Boho. You use fashion as an extension of your creativity. You like to make a dramatic statement with your style. The juxtaposition of hard pieces like leather with soft and lacy pieces is a combination you embrace. You are a layering natural. Colors are your friend. You love color. People would say your style is playful and spirited. You splurge on anything that catches your eye. In a crowd you are animated and definitely make a statement when you walk into a room.

As to your handbag. It is the cool tote. You need room for all your goodies. You practice Yoga, love nature and walks on the beach. Your shows are part of your statement. They are always perfect for your outfit.
