You are a Romantic Boho

Here's what your Romantic Boho Style says about you.

You love to look feminine and pretty, and you wouldn’t go out without looking groomed, you are  a romantic style personality.

We’re all individuals though, so you’ll find that while you have one dominant style personality that you are most drawn to, you are also attracted to elements from other style personalities.

By combining your dominant style personality with traits from other personalities you can develop a style that is uniquely you.  Here are links to other style personalities.

The Classic Boho

The Modern Boho

The Romantic Boho

As a Romantic Boho Style personality there is probably a creative side to you, even if this comes out in your spare time or your hobbies rather than your day job.

So What Are The Elements Of The Romantic Style Personality?

1. You Dress To Express Your Femininity.
Being practical or comfortable is not always your top priority but you prefer to find that perfect combination.  Even when you are dressing casually, you are likely to add a romantic element such as a touch of lace or a pretty print.

2. You Are Attracted To Beautiful Pieces.
As a romantic style personality, your eye is drawn to pretty pieces and patterns, including tactile fabrics.

3. You Like Embellishments On Your Clothes.
Your clothes may feature frills, lace and Silk Organza.

4. You Like Soft Colors but you are also drawn to rich romantic color as well.

5. You Like To Be Well-Groomed.
Even if you are just running errands, you like to have some make-up on, even if it’s just a slick of pink lipstick.

As a romantic style personality, you may also be drawn to elements of the glamorous style personality and be attracted to glamorous, figure-hugging outfits as well as deeper jewel colors.

In general though, your style tends to be softer and more romantic rather than overtly glamorous.

Maybe a romantic style already resonates with you or maybe you want to dabble a little with a more romantic look, although you feel that you have a different style personality, such as classic or Natural, for example.

Every Detail Counts
It’s really all about the little, and the not-so-little, details when it comes to romantic style. Look out for florals and swirling prints as well as embroidery and crochet.

Look For Feminine Shapes
If you have a romantic style, you may wish to emphasize your waist and your feminine figure. Look out for styles which nip in at the waist,  fit and flares and belted styles.

Choose Lace
Lace is often associated with weddings, so it’s no wonder than opting for lace can immediately give you a more romantic look.
However, you don’t have to save lace for special occasions. You could add a touch of lace to more casual outfits.

Your Basic Romantic Capsule wardrobe includes styles that have more shape.

Hello and Welcome

I am Joanne Litz from Steel Pony.  I make Boho look good no matter how old you are and everything is made sweatshop free by people who care about the environment.

So, where do you shop for your Boho looks?  The ugly truth is that most "cool" bohemian trendy clothes are made of plasitic in Sweat shops.  It's modern day slavery....

Most Boho Brands are Fast Fashion- most of it wears out fast and ends up in landfills.  From poisonous rivers in Bangladesh and Indonesia to old clothing littering the shores of East Africa to microplastics in our drinking water, Fast Fashion has become one of the biggest polluters effecting the environment.

Perhaps the most alarming stat is that the the apparel industries climate impact is expected to increase 49% by 2030.  So, fashion alone will emit 4.9 metric gigations of CO2-nearly equal to total annual US greenhouse gas emissions.

And there is so much more.

Alarmed by these stats? It is time to ditch fast Boho Fashion in favor of equally stylish sustainable fashion alternatives.

I worked in the "industry" when I graduated from College, working for an importer who manufactured in many different countries.  I saw firsthand the realities of how we exploited people and places.

As a creative, I wanted to create fashion, particularly boho fashion in a Sustainable way.

Imagine a wardrobe that you want, need, love and has a positive impact on the planet all at the same time.

We have put together some great resources that we will be sending your way to help further help you with your style.  Looking forward to getting to know you.

Well Lady- I am here to help you with that.  You can find out more about me HERE.
