Fashion & Style...What is the difference?
In the fashion world, “style” is usually shorthand for “personal style,” or the way an individual expresses themselves through aesthetic choices such as their clothing, accessories, hairstyle, and the way they put an outfit together
Fashion is a popular aesthetic expression at a particular period and place and in a specific context, especially in clothing, footwear, lifestyle, accessories, makeup, hairstyle, and body proportions.
Here at Steel Pony, we are definitely more about Style Fashion. Fashion is fleeting and who wants to follow what THEY say. Most designers have a specific esthetic that emulates heir customers. Our esthetic is more Boho in that we like comfortable, flowing shapes. But even within that our customers have different styles so in this and my next few posts I wanted to delve a little deeper into each one.

OK so let's get to it. What is a CLASSIC GIRL?
She loves simplicity. Pieces that are timeless. Ladylike classic pieces that you can wear no matter what age you are they work. Her color palate leans to basic navy, khaki, white chambray and of course Black. She dresses in a more conservative way and mainly shops at stores like Banana Republic and leans toward the more basic side of Steel Pony (think the BLK Collection). She is someone who likes to blend into the crowd. She wears simple pumps or ballet flat and can be a gym rat.
