Soft lavender, sage green, and watery blue threads weave around natural branches, creating a sense of movement and connection. Expressive graphite and ink lines travel across handmade paper, while small red stitched circles invite the eye to pause.

Inspired by the meditative spirit of the Zen ensō and the symbolism of ritual circles, each piece in the Red Circle Collection explores presence, wholeness, and the beauty of becoming.

Joanne Litz is a Philadelphia-based textile artist and founder of Steel Pony. With more than 40 years of experience in textile design, weaving, dyeing, and wearable art, she explores the relationship between creativity, color, and personal transformation.
